Children are attuned to their parents conversations about money. They absorb their parents attitudes about money (and everything else) without even noticing that they are doing it.

While distinctively different from one another, they all indicate that they have picked up their parents values without trying to. Of course, some people rebel against their parents attitudes. The important point is that most of us do this without thinking or processing these ideas.
